Key insights
- The Tourism and Travel industry needs a single source of truth in terms of access to key sustainability data that is credible, consistent and compliant.
- The Travalyst data hub is addressing this ambitious task using a systems approach where the primary focus is on connecting and aligning the existing dots in industry, filling in any gaps and delivering value to all stakeholders in the ecosystem.
- Our unique approach to the project is to continuously align “the trifecta” which is to ensure that there is market need and desirability, the solution is technically feasible and ultimately the solution complies to legislation now and in the future.
- We are commencing a use case in the accommodation vertical, specifically for corporate travel as our MVP (minimum viable product) use case and headpin consumer.
- The long term vision is to enable a healthy flow of sustainability data across all accommodation landscapes, extend into the transport vertical and ultimately build to the itinerary level.
