Our 2026 London Climate Action Week Summit, held at our partner Google’s offices, brought together coalition partners and leaders from across travel, technology, and sustainability for an afternoon of discussion, collaboration, and action.
Opening the summit, Travalyst CEO Julie Cheetham reflected on this year’s London Climate Action Week theme, “co-operation in a fragmented world”, underscoring that collaboration remains essential to lasting change and sits at the heart of Travalyst’s mission to help create a world where people, places, and nature can thrive.
The summit explored the role of AI in building a more sustainable travel sector, the growing momentum behind modal shift and flight-free travel, the road to COP31, and how the Travel Impact Model and shared sustainability data can support the reduction of Scope 3 emissions. Throughout the discussions, participants reaffirmed that transparency, common standards, and collective action will be critical to accelerating climate progress across the travel and tourism industry.
